"Jesus is coming with oranges and bannans..."

As I sat on her bed and talked to her in a language which is difficult for us both (like many people in this area her first language is Hungarian) the tiny old lady with her red wooly hat pulled down over her ears pinched my cheeks and beamed at me saying "Jesus is coming with oranges and bannans.." She suffers from dementia and I think this was probably a case of mistaken identy as I had brought her a bannan the week before.
It made both me and the nurse on duty laugh to here her say it, especially as she repeated it over and over. But as well as making me laugh I found the joy in her face also made me share her belief. As a Christian I have felt my faith really challenged by a lot of the things I have seen working in the hospital. I have seen that lady in the red hat beaten so she is almost unrecognisable, tied to a bed, sat for days in her own diarreah and its challenged everything the way I see the world. But she knows Jesus is coming and as she says over and over "Jesus is here now" "Isus aici acum" I know she is right, and I that Jesus sent me I wish there were more times in my life when people mistook me for Jesus,
