Dancing Romanian Style

One thing that I have learnt during my time in Romania is that you can slow dance to anything!!! No night here is complete with out hearing "Nothing else Matters" by metallica and you have to dance to it. Now at home this would probably mean some arkward shuffling accompanied by full on moshing by the hard core rockers. Here things are a little difference, the only dancing that happens in Romanian bars, clubs, restaurants and homes is couples dancing ballroom style!! So I have come to take part in wolcing around the room to a whole array of unlikely tunes, but actually its quite nice. I like the tradition of it and its always nice to be asked to dance, I guess its just one of the many odd and very Romanian things I will miss when I go home.
